Helen Estella Wolf, 96 of Columbus and formerly of Tiffin, died Saturday morning, October 18, 2008 at Eastland Retirement Home in Columbus.

May 22, 1912 in Tiffin, she was born to Frank J. and Estella (Riemer) Russell. She married Harold W. Wolf at St. Mary Catholic Church on November 8, 1941.

Survivors include a son, Harold W. Wolf of San Diego, CA; 3 daughters, Janet (Greg) Kent of Oceanside, CA; Debra Wolf of New Castle, CO; Mary Ann (Paul) Kubinsky of Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold on June 1, 1987, brothers, Francis, Louis, and Bertrand Russell, sisters, Mary Alice Woodruff, and Martha Jurgens.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia and a 1930 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. She and her husband owned and operated Wolf Refrigeration Sales and Service for many years.

A funeral service will be 2:30 PM, Friday, October 24, 2008 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may also attend the mass intention for Helen at 4:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2008, at St. Francis Home Chapel or 6:30 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2009, at St. Mary Church.

Friends may visit with the family 12:30-2:30 PM, Friday, at the funeral home.
