Obituary

Howard Frazier, 94, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his home.

He was born on October 22, 1927, in Bonanza, KY, to Luther and Alice (Spradlin) Frazier.  On October 13, 1963, he married Annie Gorman.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Frazier of Tiffin; sons, John L. (Kim) Frazier of Alliance; daughters, Catherine (Tim) Demith of Tiffin, Alice (John) Frazier-Snook of Willard and Annie (Mike) Daniel of Tiffin; brother, Wayne (Deb) Frazier of New Riegel; sister, Wilma (Jim) Ellis of Detroit; and 15 grandchildren, John (Logan) Demith, Catherine Demith, Annie Demith, Alice Demith, Tim Demith, Winnie Snook, Patrick Snook, Raymond Snook, Christopher Daniel, Frazier Daniel, Bridget Daniel, Robert Daniel, Howard (Brooke Leonard) Frazier, Meghan Frazier and Kevin Frazier.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde, Joe, Willard, Wilburn, Willis, Welkie and Willie; and sisters, Ann "Ethel" Hackworth and Dixie MacNamara.

Howard served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany and after World War II, helped with cleanup.  He also served as part of the joint Army/Marine forces during the Korean War and fought in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir.  He worked at Swan Rubber in Carey for several years and Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria before owning his own construction business.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin Moose Lodge 846, Tiffin Eagles #402 and V.F.W. Post 2858.  Howard enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, motorcycling, attending Mass and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

His Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio with military honors being conducted.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
