Howard Louis "Woody" Plank, 82, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, August 23, 2018 at Elmwood at the Shawhan.

He was born on January 20, 1936, in Dent County, MO, to Herman and Alma (Stafford) Plank.  He married Glenna Plank in 1969 and they later divorced.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Paul) Grover of Tiffin; stepson, James (Ann) Kear of Clyde; sister, Marrietta (Carl) Lawson of High Ridge MO; and four grandchildren, Nicholas Grover, Nathan Grover, Paige Kear and Parker Kear.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hobert Plank and Hilton Plank; sisters, Reba Bingham, Dorothy Lee Conley and infant sister, Leota Plank.

Woody was a member of the United States Army and was honorably discharged on November 1, 1964.  He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Tiffin Eagles #402 and enjoyed volunteering at church, making hand-tooled leather goods, camping, and watching and attending NASCAR races.

His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilyn Coney officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
