Magoo Ritchie, 50, of Tiffin, died Sunday evening, January 25, 2009 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

On October 7, 1958 he was born to Jasper and Freda (Combs) Ritchie in Hazard, Kentucky.

Survivors include a daughter Abby Oestreich of Bloomville, a special friend, Barbara Hickman and her children, brothers Bobby (Mildred) Ritchie of Bloomville, Coy (Carol) Ritchie of Tiffin, Jack Ritchie of Tiffin, sisters Elaine (Don) Hurt of Tiffin, Bess (Paul) Tyree of Green Springs, Mint (Mike) Pryor of Tiffin, a sister-in-law Beverly Ritchie of Tiffin, and many special nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Jay Ritchie.

Magoo liked to cook, go fishing and he enjoyed spending time with his family, and his dog, LeRoy. He was a life-long musician where he played in many bands over the years.

Friends may visit with the family 1-5pm, Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. A short prayer service will follow. Burial will be held at a later date.
