Obituary

Imelda L. "Millie" Clouse, 75, of New Riegel, passed away Monday afternoon, August 4, 2014 at good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born on September 6, 1938, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Henry and Loretta (Roth) Wise. On September 26, 1959, she married James "Jim" Clouse in a double wedding ceremony with Millie's sister and brother-in-law, Adaline and Leo Heitz.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; 2 sons, Gene Clouse of Carey and Jerry Clouse of Alvada; 3 daughters, Carol (Gary) Conley of Tiffin and Rosemary (Dan) Schalk and Mary Ann (Brian) Zoeller, both of New Riegel; 2 sisters, Sr. Marie Catherine Wise of Fremont and Alma Wurm of Bloomville; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, Bernard, Louis, Luke, Ambrose "Brownie" and James Wise; 4 sisters, Adaline Heitz, Margaret Kimmet, Henrietta Wise and Kathleen Wise; and an infant granddaughter, Brooke E. Zoeller in 2003.

Millie retired in 1991, after 15 years, from the CDR department at Mercy Tiffin Hospital and co-owned the 224 Country Inn with her husband for several years. She was a member of All Saints Parish in New Riegel, the Rosary Altar Society and volunteered for church festivals for many years. She was a member of a sewing club and was a great cook. Millie loved spending time with her family, always had a smile and was very strong willed and a fighter.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, New Riegel.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 12:15 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Parish, New Riegel or to S.C.A.T.
