Imogene G. Burgderfer, 90, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her home.

She was born on March 31, 1925, in Richland Twp., Wyandot County, to Simon Odell and Zella Ethel (Benjamin) Kear. In 1946, she married Cloyd R. "Bob" Strauch and he preceded her in death in 1970. She then married R. Duane Burgderfer in 1979 and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Williams of Lewis Center; stepson, Glen (Paula) Burgderfer; step-daughter, Donna (Bill) Gale; brother Russell Kear of Tiffin; son-in-law, Joe Blust of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry R. Strauch in 2007; daughter, Sharon Blust in 2012; daughter-in-law, Joanne Strauch in 2009; four brothers; and six sisters.

Imogene moved to Tiffin when she was six months old, graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1943, was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and worked at Sears for many years. She loved to start her mornings with the "morning coffee group" and still enjoyed getting together with the girls from Sears. She was a member of the Mid-Day church group, enjoyed going to the casino's, golfing, bowling, fishing, and loved visiting with her friends and family.

At Imogene's wishes, there will be no funeral services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ or to Community Hospice Care.
