Ivan Earl "Ike" Hill, Sr., 89, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 4, 2016 at Bowling Green Hospice Care Center. He was born to Myron Walter and Lottie L. (Yoakum) Hill. He married Irma Rose Gaietto on September 25, 1948. Survivors include his sons, Ivan (Imelda) Hill, Jr. of Sycamore, Thomas (Lou Gonzales) Hill of Cleveland and Roger (Shari) Hill of Tiffin; daughters, Nancy R. (Tim) Shock and Susan I. Davidson, both of Tiffin; sister, Ruth Ann Wise of Green Springs; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irma Rose; twin daughters, Marilyn and Carolyn; brothers, Myron, Melvin, John, David, James and William; sister, Barbara Hill; and grandson, Patrick Davidson. Ike worked at General Electric for 38 years. He enjoyed his flowers, garden, cutting wood and dancing. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin Eagles Aerie #402, Tiffin Moose Lodge #846, General Electric Club and the Ohio Polka Boosters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Kishore Kottana and Rev. Chris Bazar con-celbrating A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
