Ivron J. Norris, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, March 27, 2015 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On January 1, 1929 in Findlay, he was born to Ivron and Alice (Berman) Norris. He married Barbara Jean Szabo on November 7, 1953.

Survivors include his wife Barbara of 61 years, sons, Paul and Gary Norris both of Tiffin; Stanley (Cheryl) Norris of St. Paris, OH; daughters, Beverly (Mike Forte) Norris of Port St. Lucie, FL; Brenda (Matthew) Riesen of Van Buren, OH and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry D. "Bud" Norris, Raymond G. Norris, Duane G. Norris, and a sister, Florence L. Norris.

Ivron was a member of Union United Church of Christ in Bascom and graduated from Hopewell Loudon High School in 1946. He was a Korean Veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Army from 1948-1952 and retired from National Machinery after 39 years.

His funeral will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tress Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery with military honors by the United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
