Jacqueline A. “Jackie” SanGregory, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, May 01, 2026 at Elmwood at The Shawhan.
She was born on May 22, 1938, in Tiffin, Ohio to Francis and Gwendolen (Tracy) Rex. On April 27, 1957, she married Anthony C. “Tony” SanGregory at St. Joseph Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2024.
Survivors include her sons, Steve (Mary Beth) SanGregory of Toledo, Joe SanGregory of Tiffin and Matt (Teresa) SanGregory of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Michelle “Shel” (Joe) Kramer of Tiffin; sister, Linda (Bob Ferrel) Brady of Norwalk; brother, Tom (Jane) Rex of Tiffin; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Alex, Mark, Meghan, Lauren, Tony and Olivia; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony; infant twin son, Mark SanGregory; and one great grandchild.
Jackie graduated in 1956 from Calvert High School. She worked for many years at the Riverview Inn Motel and had been the General Manager for several years before retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin Y-Wives, the Red Hat Society, Cotillion Club, Seneca County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Seneca County Master Gardeners. Jackie and Tony loved music, dancing and spending time with their fun and supportive circle of friends. They also enjoyed boating, fishing and trips to Las Vegas. Jackie loved growing beautiful flowers and plants, and, most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Elmwood at The Shawhan for their extraordinary kindness and compassionate care for Jackie during her stay.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A luncheon will follow from 12:30 - 2:30 P.M. at the shelter at the AmVets, 1909 S. SR 100, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 Burial was private in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice or the Humane Society of Seneca County.
