Jacquelyn C. "Jackie" Borgen, 89, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025 at The Willows at Tiffin.

She was born December 03, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to Arthur and Evelyn (Green) Vance. She married William "Bill" Borgen on October 07, 1955.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Borgen; sons, Robert (Cindy) Borgen and James (Leigh Ann) Borgen; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Borgen; sisters, Judy (Darrell) Rogerson and Sharon Ward; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Thomas Borgen.

Jackie graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and worked for over 20 years in the child support division of the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services. She was an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school, worked in the church office, and was a member of Keenagers and Trinity Twosomes.

Jackie spent 69 years with the love of her life, Bill. Always together, they enjoyed square dancing with T-Squares and traveling across the United States and Canada, including visits to friends and family and bus trips with the Allen Eiry Senior Center. Jackie also enjoyed baking and sharing laughs and stories with her friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Trinity United Church of Christ, Tiffin, Ohio, with Rev. Karsten Snitker officiating. Interment will be at a later date, in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Saturday at the Church

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or to a charity of the donor's choice.
