James A. Depinet, 62, of Fayette and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2016.
On January 12, 1954 in Tiffin, he was born to Gabriel and Lucinda (Reinhart) Depinet. He married Mary Ann Lidster on October 12, 1974 and she preceded him in death in 2007.
Survivors include his daughters; Brenda Depinet and Ina (Eric) Storrs both of Fayette, Ohio; brothers, John (Yvonne) Depinet of Galion; Rev. Robert Depinet of New York; Raymond (Connie) Depinet of Findlay; Ralph (Deanna) Depinet of Tiffin; sisters, Geraldine (Norman) Lucius of New Washington; Margaret (James) Karl of Shelby; Viola (Thomas) Wasserman of Helena; and five grandchildren, Mackenzie Storrs, Dario Depinet, Austin Storrs, Adrian Depinet and Landen Storrs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Joseph, Gerald, and Leo Depinet; and a sister, Mary Montera.
Jim was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a 1972 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and he retired from MLS as a machine builder. He liked to spend time with his grandkids and family. He also liked to go camping, walking and working on small projects around the house. He enjoyed meeting new people and talking about all the good old days.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
