James Troy Ferguson, 57, of Fremont and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont.

He was born on September 24, 1968, in Tiffin, Ohio to James E. and Cecilia (Davis) Ferguson.

He is survived by his sister, Monica (Shannon) Bragg of Navarre, Ohio and nephew, T.J. Bragg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dean E. Ferguson.

Troy graduated in 1987 from Tiffin Columbian High School. He worked odd jobs around the area for years. Troy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed reading comics, going to flea markets, making jewelry, rocks, playing video games, science fiction and anime.

There will not be any services at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Opportunity Center.
