Jane Elaine Burkart, 61, of Georgia and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Columbus, GA.

She was born on July 5, 1955, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Alfred E. and Alice L. (Ruggiero) Burkart.

Survivors include her father, Alfred of Pine Mountain, GA; brother, Steven (Dana) Burkart of Glen Ridge, NJ; sisters, Cynthia (Dan) Cook of Washington Courthouse and Susan (Peter) Wade of Pine Mountain, GA; nieces, Natalie Burkart and Alexandra Wade; and nephews, Christopher, Matthew and Nicholas Cook.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice.

Jane graduated in 1973 from Tiffin Calvert High School and worked for ADP for 14 years in the accounting department.  She enjoyed oil painting landscapes and loved her two cats, Jazz and Topaz and her Yorkie, Sampson.  Jane was outgoing, loved to talk, laugh and have fun.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
