Jane Marie Schreiner (Crist), 80, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 05, 2025, at her home.

Jane was born June 22, 1944, into Toledo Catholic Charities, she was adopted at the age of two and a half by Edward and Margaret Crist of Tiffin.  She graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1962 and married Gerald Schreiner on January 23, 1965, with whom she enjoyed 60 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; daughter, Lisa (James) Albert of Abilene, TX; son, Robert Schreiner of Tiffin; grandchildren, Janelle Albert of Austin, TX; Kayala (Aaron) Distel and Tanner Schreiner both of Tiffin; great grandchildren, Nora Schreiner and Kaci Distel both of Tiffin; and a sister, Susan Kern of Tiffin; a close friend for many years, Kelly Guilkey of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Brandon Albert, and a sister, Judy Wenski.

Throughout her life, Jane worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell, Admissions Department at Mercy Hospital, and retired as the Attendance Secretary from Tiffin Columbian High School.  After retiring, she spent her summers working at the Shirt Shak on Put-in-Bay and living on the island.  In her spare time, she enjoyed cross-stitching, knitting, doing her own fingernails, and caring for her houseplants.

Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  A luncheon will follow at the Eagles, 68 Riverside Drive Tiffin, Ohio 44883
