Jane "Pat" Ilene Kiesel, 82, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday afternoon, April 24, 2014 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on February 18, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Willard and Nita (Knetch) Adams. On December 25, 1955, she married Alvin J. Kiesel, Jr. and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2013.

Survivors include her son, Dave (Erin Clark) Kiesel of Tiffin; 2 daughters; Deanna Kiesel of Findlay, and Barbara (Mark) Roberts of Tiffin; 8 grandchildren, Bernie and Caitlin Somers, Christine and Emily Roberts, Amanda (Sam Burnside) Kiesel, Melissa Kiesel, Skylar Tucker, Dylan Clark; 2 great grandchildren, Colten James and Emma Burnside; and one sister, Margaret "Peg" (Kenneth) Ward of Tiffin.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Clifford Adams; and 2 sisters, Vera Finn and Virginia Biller.

Pat graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1950 and was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. She worked at Sterling for many years as the secretary to the president of the company and also worked at J.B. Roofing. Pat worked on the "Whitehall Farms" with her husband, as dairy farmers and was a longtime National Grange member. She loved sewing; making all her children's clothes while they were young, enjoyed baking, gardening, canning and her trip to Alaska for her 50th wedding anniversary.

Her Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. David Culp officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
