Jane E. Smith, 53, of Tiffin, died, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

On November 19, 1955 she was born to John P. and Rita (Michaels) Smith in Tiffin. On April 25, 1986 she married Robert 'Bob' Smith and he survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include parents John and Rita Smith of Tiffin, a sister, Katie M. (Keith) Borngesser or Brookfield, WI, three brothers, Gary L. (Pam) Smith of Westerville, Daniel J. (Julia) Smith of Dublin, John R. (Natalie) Smith of Kansas City, MO, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is a sister in 2005, Ann Marie Schultz.

Jane graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1974. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked at the Tiffin Moose Lodge #846, and she previously worked at Kroger's as a cashier. Jane worked as a Dietary Aid at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Funeral Service will be, 11am, Monday, July 6, 2009, with Rev. Joseph Szybka, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.

Friends may visit with the family, 4pm-8pm, Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the funeral home.
