Jane D. Winters, 77, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, May 5, 2011 in Dade City, FL.

On June 1, 1933 in Marion, OH, she was born to Clifford R. and Alice (Augustein) Leffler. She married Gene Winters on June 26, 1955.

Survivors include her husband, Gene of Tiffin; 2 sons, Terry E. (Alison) Winters of Riverview, FL; Todd V. Winters of Milan, MI; brother, John A. Leffler of Sterling Heights, MI; sister, Sandra (Marvin) McFann of Marion, OH; 5 grandchildren, Cristy Rodenberry, Samantha Winters, Michael Winters, Christine Hanson and Chase Hanson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jane was a devoted member of First Lutheran Church where she baked for the funeral luncheons and a 1951 graduate of Marion Harding High School in Marion. Jane wintered in Florida the past 13 years, volunteered and organized the volunteers at Betty Jane Center and ran the Thrift shop. She loved raising her family and enjoyed social activities at Mohawk Country Club, playing cards; especially Bridge and playing Mahjong.

A funeral service will be Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Roger Giese officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory and on Monday an hour prior to the services at the church.

Memorial may be made to the First Lutheran Church, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Donor's choice.
