Janet Fay Tiell, 71, of New Riegel, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born on March 6, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Clark R. and Ethel M. (Hellem) Hall.  On June 20, 1970, she married Donald J. Tiell, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Donald J.Tiell, Sr., of New Riegel; son, Michael L. (Carolyn) Tiell of Tiffin; twin sister, Jane Herritt of Tioga, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Donald J. Tiell, Jr.

Janet was a 1969 graduate of Republic High School, worked at General Electric and then Fox Fun Manor in Findlay for many years.  She was a member of the Tiffin Moose #846, enjoyed Amish trips and traveling to Texas and Florida.

Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Pastor Jesse Caro officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Friday at the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
