Obituary

Janet Rae Seifert, 64, of Tiffin, died Monday evening, October 26, 2009 at Bridge Hospice Care in Findlay.

On July 11, 1945 in Brownsville, PA, she was born to Lee and Virginia (Knowles) Miller. She married Kyle Sexton and they later divorced. She married Jerry Seifert on June 15, 1985 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Riegel.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Jerry of Tiffin; sons, Kyle Sexton of Sherrodsville; and Kevin Sexton of South Carolina; daughter, Carol Sexton of Upper Sandusky; step-sons, Ronald Seifert of Defiance; Brian (Heather) Seifert of Calhoun, GA; Bradley (Tina) Seifert of McComb; Douglas Seifert of Solon; step-daughter, Deborah (Dave) Carpenter of Findlay; brothers William (Joyce) Miller of Alabama; Walter (Charlene) Miller of McCutchenville; Charles (Sandra) Miller of Sagamore Hills; David (Carolyn) Miller of Tiffin; sisters, Grace (Stan) Moyer and Sara (Robert) Bodnar, both of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a daughter, Lisa Sexton in 1999, a brother, Lee J. Miller, a sister, Barbara Monda and a granddaughter.

Janet was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Sandusky River Doll Club. She retired from Budd Co. (Continental Plastics) in August 2009 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed crafts and participating in the Relay for Life for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday, October 30, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family 2-7 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424, A Christian wake service will be 1:30 PM.

Memorial contributions can be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice, Calvert Catholic Schools or a charity of the donor's choice.
