Janice Diane Chinell, 66, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at her home.

She was born on March 06, 1957, in Tiffin, Ohio, to John E. and Doris P. (Shofstahl) Chinell.  Janice and Delbert R. Smith, Sr. have been spiritually married for over 30 years.

Survivors include her son, Delbert R. (Dianne) Smith, Jr. of McComb; daughters, Owanna Ortiz, Donnell Smith and Betty Smith, all of Tiffin; sister, Doris Elaine (Martin) Chinell McFerren of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janice enjoyed reading, watching the Golden Girls, fishing, fill in puzzles, the color purple and loved her dog, Patches

Her Graveside Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 03, 2023 at Seneca Memory Gardens.
