Janice Sue "Jan" Betz, 53, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, March 1, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born on June 16, 1959 in Tiffin, Ohio to Carl F. and Mary Lou (Tiell) Betz.

Survivors include her two brothers, Ronald G. (Hilda) Betz of Phoenix, AZ and Dean J. Betz of Tiffin; nieces and nephews, Pam, Bradley, Alexandra, Penny and Fred Betz; and great niece and nephews, Lucy, Corban and Bobby, and a sister in law, Deb Betz of Tiffin.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Jerry C. Betz.

Jan was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, graduated in 1978 from Tiffin Calvert High School and attended Tiffin University. She worked at General Electric in Tiffin for over 5 years and at Arby's Beverage Center for many years. She was a member of Tiffin Moose #846 and enjoyed playing BINGO and cards. Jan was a full time caregiver for her parents for many years and cherished the times she spent with her family.

Her Memorial Mass will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. The family invites everyone to participate in the Rosary that will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church and the DaVita Tiffin County Dialysis.
