Jean Ann Felton, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 after a long battle with kidney disease.

She was born on February 12, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, to Ralph and Florence (Kley) Loveland. On December 13, 1947, she married James Felton, Jr. and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2012.

Survivors include her two sons, Dr. James M. (Shawn Byrne) Felton of Tiffin and Mark (Lisa) Felton of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Katie (Fred) Tardiff and Amy (Mike) Gerfen; three great grandchildren, Joshua and Nicholas Gerfen and Kalib Tardiff; and friend, Karen Felton of Jenera.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and an infant son.

Jean graduated in 1947 from Kiser High School in Dayton, then from Beck's Business School and was a bookkeeper for a few years at Midwest Fulton Machine Co. She moved to the Tiffin area in 2003 and enjoyed camping around the area at State Parks and was a member of the Eastern Star in Dayton.

There will be a private graveside service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
