Jeanette C. Mizen, 77, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, March 26, 2015 at her home.

She was born on September 6, 1937, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Harold C. and Hilda M. (Miller) Dull. On July 30, 1955, she married Harvey L. Mizen, Sr. and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2002.

Survivors include 4 sons, Harold T. (Norma) Mizen of Phoenix, AZ, Harvey L. Mizen, Jr. of Tiffin, Albert T. (Tina) Mizen, III of Findlay; daughter, Viola M. Gathers of Tiffin; granddaughter raised by Jeanette, Jessica (David) Galan of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter, Leah Stewart; 2 brothers, Clinton "Spike" (Linda) Dull of Johnstown, PA and Pete (Betty) Dull of Walbridge.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Kenneth E. Mizen and Larry L. Mizen; son-in-law, Jessie Gathers; brother, Vernon Dull and an infant brother Richard Dull; two sisters, Virginia O'Hagen and Catherine Black, an infant sister Jean Dull and her dog, Brandy.

Jeanette was a nurse's aide for the Seneca County Home for many years and worked at Custom Staffing for over 5 years until she retired. Jeanette enjoyed listening to country and western music, watching cowboy movies and shows especially anything with John Wayne. She loved her plants and flowers but most of all raising her family.

Her funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Hannah Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the funeral home.
