Jeanne D. Frisch, 92, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 12, 2016 at Mercy Health-Tiffin surrounded by her family.

On August 2, 1924 in Tiffin, she was born to Edgar and Helen (Staub) Wangler. She married Walter O. Frisch on May 29, 1948 in St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Regina Littrell of Tiffin; five sons, Gregory (Connie) Frisch of Sandusky; Mark Frisch of Carey; Timothy (Jean) Frisch and Michael (Mary) Frisch, Matthew (Trisha Thompson) Frisch all of Tiffin; five grandsons, Travis Frisch, Antonio Frisch, Joseph Thompson, John Maag and Anthony Grine; four granddaughters, Monica (Peter) Scranton, Lacey Wertz, Jaime Frisch, Meghan Littrell and four great grandchildren, Amelia Scranton, Abigail Ginnever, Gabriel Grine and Lyla Kincaid.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter in 2007, a son, Kenneth Frisch in 2015, a daughter, Marcia Ann Frisch in 1958

Jeanne was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and their Rosary Altar Society. She graduated from Tiffin Calvert in 1942, worked at Sterling, General Electric and retired in 1984 from OSU Cooperative Extension, as a nutrition aide, EFNEP after 15 years. She was a member of VFW Post 2858 Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hat Society "Gadabouts", Allen Eiry Senior Center, Kiwanis Manor Society, Lifetime member of the 78th Division Veteran Association and the New Life Heart Club. Jeanne volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul store and loved to camp with family and friends, play cards and Ballroom and Polka Dancing with her husband.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or Community Hospice Care.
