Joan Hartman, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, July 6, 2010 at her home.
On August 15, 1927 in Tiffin; she was born to Carl and Mary (Lofay) Kirchner. She married Wilbur E. Hartman on December 28, 1946 in Tiffin.
Survivors include a sister, Marge and (Nini) Granata of Tiffin; 2 grandchildren, Tammy Coots and Mike Perkins both of Tiffin and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilbur of 55 years in 2002, a daughter, Valerie Perkins in 1995, a brother, Joe Kirchner, twin sister, Gladys Kirchner and sister, Anna Ball.
Joan was a 1945 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and was the owner of the Card Shop in the Laird Arcade. She enjoyed flea markets and was a vendor for years at the Skyway Flea Market in Fremont. She also worked in the cafeteria at Hayes-Albion and was the head Hostess and Manager of the Black Angus located in the Shawhan Hotel.
Her funeral service will be Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the mausoleum at Seneca Memory Gardens with Rev. Dr. Jan Kucera officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
