Joan L. Kuhn, 96, of Akron and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her daughter's home in Akron.

She was born on January 21, 1925, in Tiffin, Ohio, to the late Wilbur L. and Edith R. (Aiken) Fox.  On August 2, 1947, she married John F. Kuhn and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1987.

Survivors include her three daughters, Linda Gettys of Bloomville, Rebecca (Glenn) Huryn of Akron and Jacalyn Schmidt of Lindenhurst, NY.

Joan was a 1943 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and was a past member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  She retired from General Electric after 37 years and was a member of their GEWOTS club.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
