Joan P. Lloyd, 87, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday morning, February 22, 2017 at Independence House, Fostoria.

She was born on May 28, 1929, in Seneca County, to Ralph W. and Mary Ethel (Feasel) Nighswander. On December 8, 1962, she married Herbert G. "Bud" Lloyd and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2006.

Survivors include her sisters, Benita Tippin and Annabelle Shaull both of Tiffin and Mary Lou (Marcus) Brown, of Fostoria; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Maurice Nighswander

Joan graduated in 1947 from Old Fort High School and worked at Honeywell in Fostoria for over 30 years. She enjoyed vacationing around the country, going to the "whippy dip", was a practical joker and the QVC queen, shopping there all the time and was always the life of the party. Joan was close to her sisters and special friends, Daryl and Jane Elchert and was the best aunt ever.

Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.
