Obituary

John F. 'Codge' Colatruglio, 62, of Tiffin, died Thursday, January 24, 2008, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical, Toledo. November 29, 1945, he was born in Tiffin to Joseph A. and Philomenia R. (Reino) Colatruglio. On May 15, 1971, he married Elizabeth E. Ranker in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother, Philomenia, wife, Beth, two sons, Brian (Jessica) Colatruglio, Nathan (Jamie) Colatruglio, a sister, Betty (Danny) Mills all of Tiffin, four grandchildren, Maria and Jack Colatruglio, Joseph and Madelyn Colatruglio.

Preceding him in death is his father.

John was a 1964 graduate of Calvert High School, attended Heidelberg College and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He proudly served in the US Army from 1967-1969. Codge was the executive manager at Frisch's Big Boy (Bennett Enterprises Inc.) for the past 12 years. He enjoyed watching football, golfing, playing cards, being in fantasy baseball leagues, watching the Browns, Indians, Buckeyes and was a Hopewell Loudon fan. He went to many Calvert Seneca sporting events, and was a Tom Omlor Super Booster Award recipient. He was a member of Tiffin Elks Lodge 94, Knights of Columbus 608, AmVets Post 48, Mohawk Country Club and was a Calvert Athletic and Hopewell Loudon Athletic Booster.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 28, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka and Rev. James Halleron con-celebrating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Military Graveside services conducted by the United Veteran's Council.

Friends may visit with the family 2-8 PM, Sunday, January 27, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424. A Christian wake service will be 1:45 PM.
