John F. Faber, 61, of Tiffin passed away October 9, 2010 at Autumnwood Care Center.

On July 19, 1949 in Tiffin he was born to Bartlet and Dorothy (Elems) Faber.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy of Tiffin; brother, David Allan Faber of Williston, OH; sisters, Carol (Bob) Bordner of Fostoria; Barbara Elarton of Tiffin; Mary (Claude) Weatherbee of Upper Sandusky; Linda (John) Spohn of Tiffin; Sandra (Lynn) Burlile of Lorain; Connie Faber of Tiffin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, infant brother, nephew, David Weatherbee, and a great niece, Chelsea Barto.

John was a caretaker at Greenlawn Cemetery for 23 years. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, camping, hunting, being outside, and working on area farms.

A Memorial service will be Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the home of Dorothy Faber, 73 Douglas St. at 5:00 PM with Rev. Joe Curatti officiating. Friends may visit on Thursday from 1-5 PM at Dorothy's home.

Burial will be Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:00 am at Fairmont Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
