John A. Huffman, Jr., 30, of Clayton, OH, and formerly of Tiffin, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011, following an accident at his home.
He was born on October 2, 1981, in Fremont, OH to John A. Huffman, Sr. and Tana Hiser Huffman, both of Tiffin.
He is survived by his parents; daughter, Emma Myers-Huffman of Sycamore, OH; girlfriend, Kara Hoernemann, who was very special to him for the last eleven years; brother, Richard D. (Erica) Hiser, III of New Riegel, OH; grandmother, Beverly (Dale) Hoover of Tiffin; and nephew, Max Hiser.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Huffman, Jr., Charles A. Leggett and Carol D. Spraggins.
John graduated in 2000 from Mohawk High School and in 2004 from Bowling Green State University. After graduating, he worked as a financial consultant for Chase Bank, National City Bank and Fifth Third Bank. He enjoyed hunting, cooking and politics. He loved his two dogs and two cats. John's life revolved around his daughter, Emma and he loved spending time with her.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Hickory Room at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #402, Tiffin, with Pastor Bill Kiesel officiating. A time to reflect and share memories with the family will follow the service with a meal provided.
