Jonathon D. Daniel

Jonathon D. Daniel, 27, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, May 10, 2026, at his home.

He was born on June 12, 1998, to Gene and Vickie (Luhring) Daniel.

Jonathon is survived by his parents; paternal grandmother, Donna Daniel; brother, Nicholas Strojny, of Grove Port; sisters, Heather (Craig) Ronshausen, of Cambridge, Annette Daniel (Kevin Mizway), of Ypsilanti, MI, Jill (Matt) Leising, of Milford, MI, Angela (Damon) Pahl, of Forest; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Norman Daniel; maternal grandparents, Ray and Alice Luhring.

Jonathon is a 2017 graduate of Mohawk High School, and received his associates degree in Ag Mechanics in 2019, from University of Northwestern Ohio. He worked as a mechanic at Clouse Construction.  Jonathon enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising cattle, mushroom hunting, taking pictures of nature and sunrises, and being outdoors. He was polite, respectful, honest, and down-to-earth, and he loved his dog, Sadie.

Memorial contributions may be made to No One Fights Alone, Heartland Hospice, or The James Cancer Center.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 1-7:00 P.M., at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10 A.M., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 36 Melmore St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883. Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
