Joseph E. 'Joe' Faeth, 64, of Tiffin, died Thursday morning, July 24, 2008, at his home.

On October 11, 1943, he was born in Bucyrus to the late Otto and Florine (Wurm) Faeth. May 24, 1968, he married Linda Padgett.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Linda, three sons, Jeremy Faeth, both of Tiffin, Jeff (Jennifer) Faeth of Bettsville and Jon (Meghan) Faeth of Clyde, a sister, Theresa (Bernard) Depinet of Republic, mother-in-law, Flossie Padgett of Tiffin, sister-in-law, Debbie Lewin of Montesano, WA, and five grandchildren.

Joe graduated from Buckeye Central in 1961 and attended The Ohio State University. He proudly served in the US Navy, worked at WSOS, was a youth counselor at the Seneca County Youth Center and a 'helpful hardware man' for 13 years at Tiffin Hardware. He treasured time with his children and their activities and taking vacations with his family. Joe was very outgoing and liked to talk to people.

At Joe's request, there will be no visitation or service.
