Joyce M. Harshman, 97, of Tiffin, went home on June 24, 2023 at The Oakwood Otterbein Nursing Home in Pemberville. Mrs. Harshman was born April 29, 1926 in Toledo to William and Lucille (Serr) Eschenbrenner. Mrs. Harshman graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1944.

Joyce married Herman Miller at St. Joseph Catholic Church on May 27, 1947. Mr. Miller passed away in January 1951. She married Raymond E. Harshman November 21, 1953 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Harshman passed away on November 10, 2004.

Survivors include a sister; Mrs. Mary Goshe, of Arlington, granddaughter; Darla (Seth) Pause, of Florida, three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mrs. Harshman was preceded in death by a brother Bob Eschenbrenner and a sister Jane Eschenbrenner Valentine.

Joyce was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Joyce Always had a huge smile for everyone and was pleasant to everyone she came in contact with.

Mrs. Harshman was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved her flower garden and was loved by all. She was the queen of chicken noodle soup, which she enjoyed often at Bob Evans and will be missed by many.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 30, 2023, at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
