Joyce E. Runion, 90, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on May 31, 1933, in Bloomville, Ohio to Chester and Mabel (Schiley) Lofton.  On April 14, 1951, she married Richard Runion and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2002.

She is survived by her sons, Gary E. (Brenda) Runion of Tiffin, Chester (Lori) Runion of Bedford, KY and Tim (Sherry) Runion of Tiffin; daughters, Tina (William) Mizen of Tiffin and Tara (Travis Chaffee) Runion of Republic; daughter-in-law, Linda Runion of Tiffin; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard A. Runion; daughter, Marilyn Kidwell; brothers, Dalton, Mervin, Charles and Ray; and sisters, Mary Louise Fitch and Clara Cantrell

Joyce babysat for many years and worked at Circle K at Six's Corner for 18 years, retiring when she was in her 80's.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bowling, reading and was finally able to relax once she was retired.

Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Friday at the funeral home.
