Joyce C. Wisser, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday evening, November 27, 2012 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on March 15, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA and she married John S. Wisser on August 3, 1961.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John; brother, Edwin (Elizabeth) Williamson, II of Cherry Hill, NJ; sister, Janice (John) Reed of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 nephews and 2 great nephews.

Preceding her in death was her father and step-mother, Edwin H. and Evan Williamson.

Joyce graduated from Glassport High School in Glassport, PA. She lived in Strongsville, OH and owned a needlework store there for 10 years. In 1990, she moved to Tiffin. Joyce was a member of First Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School and Bible Study for over 60 years. Faith and church were very important to her. She taught needle point and volunteered at the Allen Eiry Center. Joyce enjoyed camping at Indian Lake and at Island View in McCutchenville. She also enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.

There will be a memorial service at First Lutheran Church in the Spring of 2013.
