Judith "Judy" A. Buck, 66 of Tiffin, Ohio quietly passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at her home.
Judy was born on August 31, 1946 in Tiffin to James and Mary Catherine (Gardner) Miller.
Surviving are Judy's sisters, Linda (Ralph) Snay-Wymer of Tiffin, and Kay Miller of Tiffin, her nephew, James (Michelle) Snay of Tiffin, her niece, Jennifer (Joseph) Daniel of Bellevue; great-nieces and nephews, Austin Snay, Kadin Snay, Alexa Snay, Kaitlyn Daniel, and Nicholas Daniel. She is also survived by her many friends, and her beloved pet "Minnie" her cat.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Judy graduated from Calvert High School in 1964 and attended The Ohio State University. She had also earned certification with the Gemology Institute of American. In addition to her cat, Judy loved music and playing the piano. She loved college football and was one of the "Buckeye's" greatest fans. Although Judy worked as a bookkeeper for Ohio Power here in Tiffin and as a Team Layperson at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the job she was most proud of was her last job as the Manager of Jeffrey Jewelry, here in Tiffin.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 1:30 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or the Humane Society of Seneca County.
