Judith D. "Judy" Clausing, 76, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 6, 2015 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on September 26, 1938, in Piqua, Ohio to the late J. Ralph and Dorothy (McKinley) Drake. On August 23, 1959, in Piqua, she married Larry W. Clausing.

Survivors include her husband, Larry of Tiffin; daughter, Barbara (Paul) Bjornstad of LaCrosse, WI; 2 sons, David (Emily) Clausing of Cincinnati and Mark Clausing of Elton, MD; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Jason Clausing; and a sister, Nancy Stephan of Virginia.

Judy was a graduate of Piqua High School and Heidelberg University. Judy loved to craft with her hands and while the kids were young, she made many of their clothes. As they grew up she gave lessons in sewing and knitting at several Tiffin stores. She also worked in the dietary department of Mercy Hospital until her health forced her to retire. Then, she turned to reading, cross-stitch, crochet and knitting during her retirement. She was an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ Tiffin, where she led a weekly knitting group.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Pilger-Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville, Ohio.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at Trinity United Church of Christ.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, American Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
