Judith Ann (Duffey) Valencia, 68, of Uniondale, IN and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, March 28, 2011 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN.

Judith Ann was born to Louis Smith and Leona (Kraft) Wilkinson on December 27, 1942. She married Dale Duffey and they divorced. She later married Henry Valencia of Indiana.

Surviving is her step-mother, Ann Smith of Arizona; her daughters, Robin Everett of IN; Rene (Barney) Nesselhauf of Tiffin; Rhonda Warner of Toledo; Jennifer Burke of IL; and Crystal Valencia of OK.

Her grandchildren, Michael Everett Jr. of IN; Melissa Garcia of Toledo; Rachel (Jay) Ragle of Risingsun; Madison Nesselhauf of Tiffin; Jared Wolf of Toledo; and Conner and Morgan Burke of IL. She also had the pleasure of being a great grandmother to Aiden, Adrianna and Angelita Garcia all of Toledo; and Persilla Ragle of Risingsun and having a best friend, Sandy Baillie of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Smith; brother, Butchie Smith and a sister, Mary Jane Erikson.

Judy had several sisters and brothers that she loved very much. She was also raised by two wonderful people, Aunt Edith and Uncle Gill.

Judy loved her husband Henry and her dogs very much. Her children and grandchildren were very much loved by her and she will be greatly missed.

She enjoyed life, being at the beach, music, and was very fun loving and great to be around.

Her funeral service will be Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
