Julia F. Ritzenthaler, 80, of Green Springs, passed away Wednesday morning, December 26, 2012 at Elmwood at the Springs, Green Springs.

She was born on May 27, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio to Fred and Frieda (Fink) Scherer.

Survivors are her daughter, Linda (Scott) Wise of Fremont; brother, Herbert (Eileen) Scherer of Tiffin; sister, Betty (John) Sendelbach of Tiffin; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Julia graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1950 and worked at Ohio Bell for 8 years as a switchboard operator. She lived in Toledo for several years and most recently resided in Green Springs.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Holy Family Chapel in Green Springs with Pastor Keith Koppenhofer and Sister Sam Valdez officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the chapel.
