Julie Thompson, 44, of Denver, CO and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening July 6, 2022 in Denver.
She was born on July 15, 1977, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Steve and Bonnie (Hummel) Ardner. On August 15, 2001, she married Chris A. Thompson.
She is survived by her father, Steve Ardner of Tiffin; mother, Bonnie Hanson of New Port Richey; husband, Chris A. Thompson of Denver, CO; son, Allen R. Thompson of Denver, CO; daughter, Ashley (Joshua) McCartney of Keystone Heights, FL; stepsons, Chris Thompson, Jr. of Findlay and Brendan Thompson of Cleveland; sister, Jessica Warner of Tiffin; six granddaughters; close friends, Dawn Feasel, Denise (Arthur) Feasel, Sunny Bullock Wildman, Stephanie Adkins and Kristin Penwell.
Julie was a graduate of Columbian High School and was a hazmat technician at CG Environmental. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother, wife and friend to so many. She was the rock of her family. She was thoughtful, caring with a sense of humor, supportive and kind. She always knew the right thing to say and never missed a birthday. Julie's favorite hobby was traveling with her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-242 with Pastor Phil Littlejohn officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Celebration of Life at the funeral home.
