Kathryn A. "Kathy" Tong, 71, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Mercy Health-St. Rita Hospital, Lima.

She was born on March 15, 1952, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Harold E. and Pauline I. (Stockdale) Stahl.  She married Robert Tong on September 19, 1970.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Tong of Tiffin; son, Stacy (Marsha) Tong of Flat Rock; brother, Harold W. (Paulette) Stahl of Berlin Center; and four grandchildren, Gabrielle Tong, Matthew Tong, Jessie Davis and Cory Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James E. Stahl; and sister, Barbara K. Furlong.

Kathy was a 1970 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School.  She worked at St. Francis Home for years and at Wyandot Hospital for 22 years as the Director of Dietary and Environmental Services.  Kathy enjoyed going to concerts, traveling the Country, bus trips, visiting National Parks, going on cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and the East Coast, painting, collecting figurines, decorating for the holidays and was a QVC supporter.

Services were held at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
