Kenneth Chapman, 72, of rural Tiffin, passed away Monday afternoon, February 14, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

On February 5, 1939 in Tiffin, Oh he was born to Harry and Ruth Chapman. He married Carolyn Siebenaller on June 13, 1958.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn; daughters, Kim (Tony) Miles of Findlay; Shelly (Dave) Rohde of Westerville; Beth (Barry) Burd of Tiffin; brothers, Richard, Paul, and Walter Chapman; sisters, Mary Wagonblast, Frances Kieffer, Betty Travis, 6 grandchildren, Anthony, Chelsea, Logan, Michael, Alli, and Lauren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William, Bob, and Ross Chapman; and a sister, Gladys Morrison.

Ken was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, 1958 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and a member of New Riegel Moose. He retired from EPco. in Fremont in 1999 following over 30 years of dedication. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, farming, taking care of his yard, and spending time at his pond feeding the fish. Ken loved his family and enjoyed the time he had with them.

A memorial mass will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
