Kenneth Paul Hohman, 78, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday August 19, 2025 at Elmwood at The Shawhan.
Kenneth was born in Tiffin, OH on October 23, 1946, to the late Paul and Regina (Brickner) Hohman. Kenneth attended and graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1964. Kenneth married Rita F. Mathias at St. Nicholas Church in Frenchtown on June 30, 1979. She survives in Tiffin.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Nathan Hohman of Tiffin, Travis (Laurie) Hohman of Fostoria, and Neil (Lindsay) Hohman of Pickerington; grandchildren Miles, Kendal, Mack, Faith, McKenzie, Natalie, Lance, Lilly, and Phillip.; brothers, Dave Hohman of Tiffin, Dennis (Marcia) Hohman of Fostoria, and Paul (Patricia) Hohman of Tiffin; sisters in-law, Marty Hohman of Tiffin, Ruth Molyet of Findlay, Teresa (Ray) Chaney of Kansas and Mary (Bob) Shultz of Tiffin; brothers in-law, Mark (Linda) Mathias of Carey, and Paul (Nancy) Mathias of New Riegel; and 50 nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; in-law's, Norbert and Dolores Mathias; brother, Bernard Hohman; brother and sister in-law, Ronnie (Diane) Hohman; and brother in-law, Donald Molyet.
Kenneth was a lifelong farmer on the family farm in Seneca County. He was a member of the Hopewell-Loudon Young Farmers Association, was a Bascom volunteer fireman for many years, and a member of the Hopewell Township Zoning Board. Kenny enjoyed attending local auctions and always enjoyed a good conversation with family, friends, and strangers.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass on Monday at Church. A prayer service will begin at 6:15 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 25, 2025 at All Saints Parish in New Riegel with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Bascom, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth's honor to the All Saints Church, New Riegel for masses or to Bascom Joint Fire District.
