Kenneth John "Kenny" Kuhn, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025
at 6:20pm, at Autumnwood Nursing Home, his residence for the last 3 years.
Born the only child of William P. and Lucille K. (Dell) Kuhn on 26 Jan 1938, in Tiffin. Kenny graduated in 1956 from Calvert H.S. and enlisted in the Army Reserve where he served from 1956 to 1962. He married Helen Marie Long (a/k/a Sandy Decker) daughter and only child of John Harold "Shorty" Long and Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Decker at St. Mary's, Tiffin, on September 12, 1959.
Kenny is survived by his wife of Autumnwood; four kids, Dwight (Cynthia) Kuhn of Taylor, MI, Annette (Gregory) Covert of Bloomville, OH and Douglas (Linda) Kuhn and Kimberly (Timothy) Feasel all of Tiffin; nine grandkids: Desireah Kuhn and Aaron Kuhn, of Taylor, MI, Brittany (Timothy) Breyman of Sherwood, OH, Seth Covert of Bloomville, OH, Nicole (Zachary) Mitchell of Tiffin, Natalie (Jacob) Wiese of Tiffin, Levi Feasel, Joshua (Sara) Kuhn and Derek (Brandy) Porter all of Tiffin; great-grandkids, Isak Kuhn, Alessandra, Adalyn & Ariana Ryan; Ava & Lilly Breyman, Cooper Kuhn, & Braylie Porter, Cheyanne "Olivia" & Violett Miller of Taylor, MI; and 13 additional Step, Great, and Great-Great Grandkids.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; and a son.
Kenny worked at the A & P Grocery Store as the Dairy Dept Head in Tiffin and in Bowling Green from high school into the 1980's when the grocer closed all OH stores. He also worked as the maintenance man at the Betty Jane Center and The School of Opportunity from 1973 until the later built its current facility south of SR 224. Kenny worked as a maintenance man for the school until he retired in 2003.
Kenny enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and he enjoyed camping and traveling. Kenny and his family visited almost every state in the country and camped in some truly unusual places. Kenny also loved to make holiday treats, Christmas cut-out cookies & candied popcorn balls when his kids were little and gingerbread men when the grandkids came along.
Kenny was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he served as an usher and with communion distribution until his health confined him to his home.
A Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Saturday at the funeral home.
