Kenneth Raymond Schetter, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 28, 2010, at Fostoria Community Hospital.

He was born November 20, 1927, in Tiffin, to Lewis A. and Stella M. (Tipton) Schetter. He married Patricia Nepper and they later divorced. He married Peggy L. (Latham) Hill on August 25, 1978, in Tiffin.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Peggy; three sons, Mike (Julie) Schetter, Chris Schetter, and John (Penny) Schetter; two daughters, Linda Bentz and Vickie (Jim) Gaietto; a brother, Joe Schetter; all of Tiffin; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death, along with his parents, is a brother, Lewis F. Schetter; and a sister, Stella Marie Smith.

Kenneth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He drove truck for Brooks Trucking in Vanlue and liked watching sports. He proudly served in the US Army from 1952-1954, stationed in Germany, during the Korean Conflict.

His Funeral Service will be Noon, Friday, October 1, 2010, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.

Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens with military graveside services conducted by the United Veteran's Council.

Friends may visit with the family 11-Noon, Friday, October 1, 2010, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.
