LaDonna P. "Donna" Burns, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

Donna was born on October 17, 1934 in Wood County to Roscoe and Florence (Brandeberry) Drew. On September 5, 1959, in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married Carol "Buck" Burns and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1991.

Survivors include three sisters, Betty Baker of Tiffin, Della Overly of Fostoria and Joan Simpkins of Tiffin; many nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Carolyn Hoover and family; special friends, Gene and Linda Miller and family of Tiffin and Eudora Miller of Florida; and many friends at Kiwanis Manor where she lived for 20 years.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; Edward, Earl, Alton, and Charles and two sisters; Barbara Schubert and Marjorie Burns.

Donna graduated from Columbian High School in 1955, was a homemaker and sales clerk at area department stores and worked in the cafeteria at General Electric. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #402 Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed making crafts and volunteering in the Gift Shop at Kiwanis Manor.

Her Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at First United Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Caro officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
