Laura K. Shipley, 75, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Elmwood Assisted Living of Tiffin.

Born on November 22, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, Laura was the daughter of Robert L. and Elizabeth (House) Knepp. On November 15, 1969, she married the love of her life, Tim Shipley, and together they shared 55 wonderful years.

Laura is survived by her husband, Tim Shipley of Tiffin; her daughter, Tina (Gerard) Zifchak of Cumming, Georgia; her son, Tim (Becky) Shipley, Jr. of Acworth, Georgia; six grandchildren, Dale (30), Sierra (Patrick) (28), Tyler (25), Kyle (25), Nate (23) and Adrienne (23); and one great-grandson, Ayden (3).

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob Knepp.

Laura graduated from East Lake North High School in 1968. After she and Tim married, they settled in Berea, Ohio, where they built their life together and raised their family. In 1999, they relocated to Tiffin, where they proudly owned and operated Shipley's Office Supplies and Furniture.  Also, worked as a dedicated bus driver for the School of Opportunity for 12 years before retiring in 2015.

Laura loved camping and traveling across the country with her family. A passionate collector of teddy bears especially those she picked up on her adventures. She was known for her warm, playful spirit. She also had a love for cats, reading, puzzles, and games, and she found joy in decorating her home inside and out for every holiday, creating a space that was always full of warmth and cheer.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Laura's life on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. The family encourages guests to dress casually, just as Laura would have wanted. Burial will take place at a later date in Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Heights.
