Lauryn E. Schank-Hyden, 27, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, May 5, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo from complications from kidney failure.
She was born on April 2, 1986 and on June 9, 2012, she married Andrew Hyden.
Survivors include her parents, Ronald L. and Susan M. (Deats) Schank, of Tiffin; husband, Andrew; brother, Justin (Wendy) Schank of Friendswood, TX; grandmother, Rita Schank, of Tiffin; nephew, Eric Schank; step niece and nephew, Kailey and Brant Mathias; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Margaret Deats and Arthur Schank.
Lauryn graduated in 2005 from Tiffin Calvert High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed leisure nights of watching movies with her husband and had a love for animals. Lauryn loved life.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka and Rev. Timothy Kummerer con-celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852, St. Joseph Catholic Church Worker's Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, 4742 N. 24th St., Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016-4862 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
