Leona M. "Lee" Michaels, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, March 3, 2016 at Seneca House, Tiffin.

She was born on April 4, 1935 in Reed Twp., to A.J. and Mildred (Hartzel) Bogner. She married Paul Michaels and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Survivors include her daughter, Cherie (Jim) Anderson of Tiffin; sister, Gay-Lynn (Ron) Schafer of Monroeville; granddaughter, Kourtney (Cody) Hufford of Las Vegas, NV; twin granddaughters, Aubree and Brooke Hufford of Las Vegas; and Jim's children, Cory (Jen) Anderson of Williamston, MI and their children, Seth, Jack and Avery Anderson, Abby Anderson of Findlay and Will Anderson of Williamston, MI.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Lee graduated in 1953 from Monroeville High School and received her Master's Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She was a school teacher at Seneca East Schools for 27 years and a very active member of Family of Faith Lutheran Church. Lee was an avid golfer, wonderful seamstress and enjoyed gardening. Family was most important to Lee.

Her Memorial Service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Family of Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Philip Moerdyk officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Block Cemetery.
