Leona Mae Miller, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening, September 14, 2011 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

She was born on July 28, 1921 in Melmore, OH to John & Minnie (Bradley) Valentine. She married Forrest E. Miller on July 28, 1940 and he preceded her in death. .

Surviving are three sons; John (Dolores Agerter) Miller and Dennis (Karen) Miller both of Tiffin, OH and Ernest J. (Mary) Miller of Lima, OH; five grandchildren; Steven, Michael, Mark, Jodi, and Jeff and 3 great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Stephanie, and Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harvey, Mervin, Ray & Ernest Valentine; sisters, Cleone Lynn, Cleora Kiser and Sue Beeman.

Leona was a member of First United Baptist Church and graduated from Republic High School. She worked at Pecks Drug Store, Newberry's, Tiffin Glass House, American Standard, General Electric, Ardner's Restaurant and Southside Laundry. She was a member of the Mothers Club at the Eagles, past-president of the Eagles Auxiliary

Her funeral service will be Monday, September 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Robert Adelsperger officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Bloomville, OH.
